uncomfortable space

If you are going to create problems for yourself, make them interesting.

If you are going to make mistakes, make the best possible mistakes.

Growth happens when we push ourselves into uncomfortable space.

It is the only way to expand our comfort zones into where we most wish to be.

If you wish to elevate yourself to places you have not been before, have the kinds of relationships you have never had before, and feel and do things you have never felt or done before, you must become more comfortable with the idea of being uncomfortable.

You may risk being hurt, but the hurt is temporary.

You also risk experiencing joy, fulfillment, clarity, tranquility, and wisdom you have never known.

I am not here for things to be simple.

I am here to learn, to love, and to live fully.

I am here to practice the art of navigating what is most complex with ease and grace.

I am here to be able to say—at the end of it all—that the challenges were what I needed, and the joys were what I longed for.

“If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud.”
